I didn't grow up feeling the prettiest or the most confident, but that's probably what led to my interest in all things beauty & aesthetics. This business really started in 2020, when I was really questioning the type of person who I wanted to become. I decided that I wanted to help bring a lil sparkle into this world by helping people feel happy within themselves. Which is actually really cringy and such a cliché to even say. But it's the truth. I can even show you the page from my journal from that time, but that would be too vulnerable for me... So naturally, it made sense that I got into providing lash extensions. It was beauty-related, I can help make people feel pretty, it was trending during the time, and most of all, I can make money from it!

It was a good umbrella term for lashes brows, and anything else I ever dream of offering later down the line.
'For Me
The words together have a modern, playful vibe, similar to SHEIN.
But more importantly, this business started as a journey for myself—a test to see how far I can take things when I don't limit myself and allow the self-limiting thoughts to consume my being.
The original Instagram handle was **lashme.ag** — a name that made perfect sense when lashes were the focus.
But growth becomes inevitable.
I wanted to learn a new skill and have a new type of hobby to offer. Which means that I needed to come up with a new name that is still just as clever.
Here's how I came up with
When I first started, my mom told me I sucked at doing lashes.
Did I care? Yes.
But I learned to get over and learn all the lessons I could to be better, because I wasn't doing this for anyone else.
I was doing this for me.
I feel like that should be the motto for anything.
Your man didn't want you to get your brows done, because he likes your bald, sparse brows just as fine?
Who cares?!? If you know that booking the appointment will make you feel confident waking up with your natural features enhanced - you should do it and remind yourself that "I'm doing this for me"
